AstroClipz started with a simple frustration: the best moments in a livestream are obvious the second they happen, but turning one into a clip that's ready to post takes far longer than it should. Watch the whole stream, find the moment, cut it, reframe it, caption it, brand it, export it, upload it — over and over, for every clip.

What AstroClipz does
AstroClipz captures livestream moments, edits and formats them for vertical short-form video — TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels — and streamlines the workflow of reviewing and posting them. It brings the recorder, editor, captioner, brander and uploader into one tool so a clip goes from live moment to posted video with as little manual work as possible.
Who it's for
It's built for the people who live in short-form: creators repurposing their own streams, clippers running channels around a streamer, and campaigns that need a steady flow of well-formatted clips. Anyone whose day involves cutting the same kind of vertical clip again and again is who AstroClipz is designed to help.
How we think about it
- Human-in-the-loop, always. Automation handles the tedious work — detection, cutting, formatting, captioning — but a person reviews and approves every clip before it's posted. Nothing publishes on its own.
- Permission-first. AstroClipz only processes footage it's authorised to use, whether granted directly by a creator or licensed through an official clipping campaign. Clips are creatively transformed, not re-uploaded unchanged.
- Official channels only. Accounts are connected through each platform's own secure authorisation flow, and posting happens through official platform APIs — never by working around them.
- Minimal data. The tool is built to handle as little personal data as possible and to keep credentials secure. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
Where it is today
AstroClipz is actively developed and operated by an independent developer. The core pipeline — capture, detection, vertical rendering, captions, branding, review and publishing to TikTok — is built and in use on the developer's own connected accounts. Support for more platforms and a broader rollout are on the roadmap.
