Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 June 2026
1. What AstroClipz is
AstroClipz ("the Service", "the tool", "we") is a personal content publishing tool operated by its developer ("the Operator"). It is used to detect, review, edit and publish short-form video clips from livestream footage to social media accounts owned and connected by the Operator, using the official APIs of the relevant platforms (including the TikTok Content Posting API and Meta Graph API).
AstroClipz is not offered as a product or service to the general public. There are no public user accounts, sign-ups or subscriptions. These Terms exist to describe how the tool operates and the conditions under which it connects to third-party platforms.
2. Human review and approval
Every clip handled by AstroClipz is individually reviewed, edited where needed, and explicitly approved by the Operator before it is uploaded to any platform. The Service does not publish content automatically or without human approval.
3. Source footage and permissions
- AstroClipz only processes livestream footage that the Operator has written authorisation to use, whether granted directly by the content creator or through an official clipping campaign that licenses the footage for this purpose.
- Published clips are creatively transformed (trimming, titles, captions, subtitles and branding) rather than re-uploaded unmodified.
- Rights in the underlying footage remain with the original creators and rights holders. If you are a rights holder and have a concern about a clip, contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly.
4. Platform policies
Use of the Service is subject to, and designed to comply with, the terms and developer policies of the platforms it connects to, including TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Terms, and Meta's Platform Terms. Where these Terms conflict with a platform's terms, the platform's terms prevail for activity on that platform.
5. Connected accounts
Accounts are connected to the Service only through each platform's official authorisation (OAuth) flow, and only by the Operator. Authorisation can be revoked at any time through the relevant platform's app or security settings, which immediately prevents the Service from posting to that account.
6. Acceptable use
The Service is not used to publish content that is unlawful, hateful, or in breach of platform community guidelines; to manipulate engagement metrics; or to misrepresent the origin of content.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the operation of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued operation of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
